The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is a Schedule 3A open substance as far as the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). It was set up on 1 October 1998, after the sanctioning of the now revoked South African Civil Aviation Authority Act 40 of 1998. The Act was canceled overall by the Civil Aviation Act 13 of 2009.
